Our Story

For over 80 years, the Speno family has proudly served musicians throughout the Auburn area. Professionals and amateurs alike have relied on Speno Music's personal service and expertise for four generations.

We specialize in expert tube amp restoration, along with sales and service for all musical instruments, plus complete guitar repair and customization. Our shop also carries a large inventory of new and vintage stereo equipment, vinyl records, and CDs. A dense collection of vintage and modern guitar amplifiers and speakers stacked together inside a music store. Prominent brands visible include Marshall, Roto-King, Peavey, and Fender.

In 1948, Speno Music created the area's first band instrument program for local families, helping generations get their start in music. You'll find us in the heart of downtown Auburn, right beneath the historic Genesee Beer sign, open six days a week. Whether you make music or just love listening to it, we're here to help. A retail showroom filled with vintage wooden speaker cabinets, shelving units, and audio equipment.
